Expert teachers have an amazing ability to connect with students and still deliver high levels of instruction!
How would you describe each of these four different types of teachers?
ReplyDeleteAs a student, it is hard to learn from a professor that does not try and connect with his audience. Even in a lecture hall of 500 students, there is a great deal of difference in the amount of information I learn from the educated teacher than the expert teacher. The educated teacher can lecture for hours on what he/she knows, but if a student feels no connection then that time is lost. If there is no connection between teacher and student, there is little drive or desire to go the extra mile and be a great student.
